Hugo represents domestic and international clients in commercial litigation and restructuring, with a particular focus on disputes involving financial and structured products. His practice includes disputes related to financial leasing, operating leases, and factoring, as well as the enforcement of trusts and collateral guarantees. In insolvency proceedings, he advises debtors and creditors at every stage of the process—pre-insolvency negotiations, inspection, conciliation, and bankruptcy—with particular experience in restructurings involving multiple creditors and judicial authorities. He also has public sector experience, having served as legal counsel at the Social Prosecutor’s Office of Mexico City.
